Arts Habitat Edmonton
11342 64 street, Edmonton, AB, T5W 4H5
The main floor of this historic house is the perfect space to hold a living room concert, photo shoot, class or meeting. Arts Habitat purchased, restored, and designated the 1912 Craftsman residence, turning it into a community hub of Highlands, Montrose, Virginia Park, and Bellevue neighbourhoods. McLuhan House is the perfect venue to host any artist or group to show and grow their creative endeavour.
Arts Habitat Edmonton is a non-profit organization engaged in finding, managing and developing space for the arts. McLuhan House is envisioned to be an interpretive centre for Herbert Marshall McLuhan's life and legacy of ideas for guests to enjoy. The house museum features various displays that celebrate Dr. McLuhan and his original phrases such as, the "medium is the message" and the "global village." We host well-defined cultural programming, curated events, and the annual Artist Studio Residency awarded to a local artist or artist-collective.
