The Lobby Gallery is well-lit with lighting and ample north-face windows, perfect for innovative pop-up gallery exhibitions, openings and week-long exhibitions, art-making, retreats and lectures.
The configuration is:
• 8 participants set-up with 4' working surface
• 12 participants with a 2' working surface
Artelier is a vibrant and versatile visual arts space that houses artist studios, workshops, lectures and meetings, pop-up exhibitions and sales.
Located in Old Strathcona with free on-street parking, close to transportation, cafes and restaurants, it is in the perfect location to meet with clients.

| Rental Policy | Studio Rules and Requests o ARTELIER Artist Studios is a shared space. The Renter must conform to normal safety and etiquette rules, including those outlined below. If ARTELIER, in its own discretion, determines that a Renter is not conforming to the Studio Rules, it reserves the right to cancel the Renter’s future bookings and refuse further rentals. o The Renter must arrive and leave within the booked time. This includes set-up and clean up time. o Any ARTELIER furniture or equipment used must be returned to the original location at end of use. All tables must be moved by two-person lifting. Please do not drag them across floors. Any breakage or damage must be paid for by the Renter. o The Renter must leave the space in the condition it was when the Renter arrived. o The Renter will keep noise to a level that does not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the Studio by all Renters. o The Renter will not leave any personal belongings, materials, or artwork behind. Completed artworks must be removed. Renters’ uncollected property may be disposed of by ARTELIER after 1 month at ARTELIER’s discretion. o Renters must not use candles, incense, perfume spray or any burning materials. o Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building. Smoking is permitted behind the building where an ashtray is provided. o Cleaning up: Use of volatile compounds (example: oil-based spray paints, turpentine, and acetone etc.) are also prohibited. o Oils: Only odorless products like Gamblin Gamsol are permitted. Solvents, varnishes, or other compounds must be placed in the receptacle provided and must never be put down the drain. Solvents must be properly labelled, stored, and taken with the Renter. o Acrylic: Leftover acrylic paint and dirty paint water must be placed in the receptacle provided and must never be put down the drain. |
| Cancellation Policy | Fees, cancellations, and refunds A $50 deposit is required for all rentals. If you cannot attend a booking, please cancel it as soon as possible to make it available forothers. Full rental paid and deposit are refundable up to 30 days before event; deposit will not be refunded within 30 days of event. ARTELIER requests that you confirm your booking by replying to the confirmation email to be sent to you the day before your session. ARTELIER reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the studio rental arrangements with or without notice, and ARTELIER will not be liable to the Renter or any third party for any loss or inconvenience. Any fees paid for resulting cancelled session will be refunded. |
